Data Protection & Information Management Success of Tertiary Institution in Rivers State Nigeria

Abstract:
This paper examined how data protection impacts information management success of tertiary institution in Rivers State Nigeria. In line with the purpose of this paper as stated. Our population comprises of 5 selected tertiary institution in Rivers State. The Taro-Yamene sample size determination formula was used to determine the sample size. The objective of this study is to assess the relationship between data protection and information management success of tertiary institution in Rivers State Nigeria. Questionnaires were the major instruments used in gathering primary data which were analyzed using regression analyses. The study found that tertiary institution can achieve improvement along the terms of information management success if they are able to protect their data effectively and efficiently. And that the outputs of these institutions will be improved by the adoption of various data protection methods
